'Still Here Sexy' - Part 1: Nips

We talk a lot about friction in dressing and how adding an element of unexpectedness makes for a really good and balanced outfit. Still Here is a denim brand. So many of our pieces and styling are not sexy to the naked eye. But through chasing friction, we very often find moments of ‘Still Here Sexy;’ sexiness that comes from being real.

An outfit with the right amount of nipple is tasteful and effortless. It’s not about sex appeal, its more of an affect of the clothing. Lets be real, there is nothing chill about a padded bra.

Whoops, the shirt happens to be semi-transparent.

At a certain angle with the right lighting, you may see a bit more than just a suggestion of breast.

With a gust of wind or strong air conditioning, your top is shouting “I’m a girl.”

Hair, skin, eye coloring and distinct features of an individual inform how we style a look. We wouldn’t style someone with black hair in an all black look or a blonde in all pink ensemble - we always want to contrast someone’s natural features/beauty to create friction. If we put the blondie in all black, suddenly her hair is an accessory. When tastefully done, nipples have the power to create cool friction and add an element of unpredictability to a look.

A sheer long sleeve shirt

A thin short sleeve sweater (bonus points if there’s a collar)

A Hanes ribbed tank

A thin turtleneck (with or without sleeves)

A super oversized button-down, unbuttoned past the breast (bonus, an extra long chain to draw the eye)

Or you can always just go topless
